HiWatch Laser Illumination System
HiWatch is a diode laser system that can be used to illuminate the measurement volume of SprayWatch to detect cold particles. Normally, SprayWatch cannot detect particles colder than 1300 - 1400°C. With HiWatch, you can easily measure the particle velocity in processes like cold spray, HVAF, grid blasting and shot peening. You can also determine the fraction and location of unmolten particles in thermal spraying processes, image the particle injection zone in plasma spraying etc. You can use the laser features directly from the SprayWatch software.
