Definition:
CCD camera based system for on-line diagnostics and monitoring of thermal spray processes.
Based on a fast-shutter CCD camera, digital image processing and spectrally resolving optics (patented), SprayWatch gives on-line information of the spray in a way that no other system is able to give. The system is able to measure real physical parameters of the spray such as particle temperature, velocity, flux and distribution, spray width, angle, position and intensity.
